Community's Product Tips:
Similar to Axiom's Mayhem, the Catalyst is for two types of players - Those who struggle to throw Speed 12 discs without fading mid-flight and those who can handle speed 12 discs and are looking for a disc to fairly easily hold the straight or anhyzer line they put it on without much fuss.

Manufacturer's Description:
This dazzling triple-foil stamp is executed in black, silver, and gold foils.  It depicts an explosion of power under highly engineered control and precision — like a golf shot — and in the less abstract, an awesome rocket launch.  Put some serious fuel behind your Proton Octane with the MVP Rocket stamp!

The Catalyst is a perfect starter for big distance.  Its stability profile lends itself to being incredibly useful even when underpowered.  Catalyst is significantly less understable (more stable) than its 21.5mm counterpart, the Orbital.  High power throwers will be able to control rollers, sky anhyzers, and tight turns, while average to low power players will get easy distance with great glide, and a power responsive amount of turn-to-straight.  The Catalyst is molded with the same core and nice even dome as the Octane, yielding extra glide for maximum distance shots.

MVP Proton Plastic - Durability: 9 (What's this?)
Proton plastic is produced with some of the most durable plastics in the industry. It has immense abrasion resistance from impact and as a result very slow wear, giving it a very long life. It is produced with bright, vivid transparent colors. A key aspect as to why proton plastic has such great clarity and durability is because the central core is not contaminated with any weighting agents unlike most conventional golf discs. The weight products are placed in the outer ring to enhance the GYRO™ Technology and maintain polymer purity in the central core so that our beautiful colors are always vivid and clear.
